The Computer Research and Resource team works diligently to make the best possible resource available for the rest of the departments in the Secretariat. The Computer Research and Resource Department works in collaboration with all other departments at the Secretariat to provide research and IT support. In research work, the department focuses on providing updated information & guides for the state-of- the art techniques in lesson planning and curriculum development. It also provides research material to the Teacher’s Training Department as per requirement.

Besides doing research work for all other Departments, the Computer Research and Resource Department also handles the Computer Subject Curriculum and Papers, conducts Computer Teachers Training Workshops and School and Computer Lab Evaluations. All matters pertaining to Computer Curriculum like Book selection, Reviews and paper setting etc. are also the responsibility of this department.

The Graphics section of The Computer Research and Resource Department publishes a quarterly newsletter of the Secretariat by the name of APSACS Dateline. Other projects include presentations, development of Organizational Profile, designing layouts, ads, supplements and assorted giveaways. The Department is also working on a Computer Laboratory Handbook, which is a guideline for computer teachers for maintaining their School Computer Labs.

 Website updating is also managed by the Computer Department.
